C-Track E-Filing

The C-Track E-Filing System is a stand-alone component of the C-Track product suite. It can integrate with external case/document management systems, or use C-Track case/document management functions. It also integrates with third party electronic payment systems to allow users to pay fees when e-filing.

The C-Track E-Filing System allows parties to file one or more documents in most standard document formats (e.g. Microsoft Word, Corel Word Perfect, Adobe PDF, Tiff, etc.). E-filed documents are converted to Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, and may optionally be watermarked, file stamped, and electronically signed. E-filers have the ability to control who is served and the method of service. E-filers are notified by email when their filings are accepted or rejected. All filings can be managed by the e-filer, with accepted, rejected, pending, and draft filings shown. Rejected filings can be held for update and then re-submitted.

Court staff use the e-filing review queues to accept or reject e-filings, and can add their own comments for the e-filer. Once e-filings are approved, docket entries are created in the CMS with a link to the associated e-filed document.

Users with the proper access can then view e-filed documents from the case docket.
